About Me.

I am a  graphic novelist, printmaker, make up artist, and model painter. I have a strong preference for the fantasy genre, in a cinematic style, meaning I like to keep wordiness to a minimum. Inspired by the anime craze of the early 2000's, I strive to combine eastern styles with western comics to create something that's true to me and my nationality. I like to incorporate poetry into my art on occasion.

As a printmaker, I favour the detail of dry point and screen prints. These forms of traditional printing carry a sense of magic when I finally see what comes out of the other side of the press. No matter the art medium, my work is typically based on lengthy observational drawing sessions.
In line with my interest in the fantsy genre, I have been painting wargaming models since 1997. I have entered several of Games Workshops painting contests, reaching the Golden Demon finals in 2002, am a 3x Golden Gretchen winner, and an Armies of Parade 3rd place.

I have a Fine Art Practice Foundation Degree from Central College Nottingham (Nottingham College).
